Nike seems to have taken the decision that it is once again important to attract attention. The Nike Vomero Premium is certainly the clearest example. It doesn’t aim to go unnoticed (far from it), but seeks to provoke an immediate reaction. Either you fall in love with it or it seems like overkill. There is no middle ground. It is tall, very tall and visually “crazy”, with that futuristic sneaker look that seems more typical of a fashion store window than of a shoot at a leisurely pace (which, by the way, is its function). But the funny thing is that, when you put it on and start running, you understand that behind so much artifice there is a clear purpose, to turn any run into a soft, friendly and totally different experience.
